Draw Masjid of Two Qiblahs

"Indeed, We see you ˹O Prophet˺ turning your face towards heaven. Now We will make you turn towards a direction ˹of prayer˺ that will please you. So turn your face towards the Sacred Mosque ˹in Mecca˺-wherever you are, turn your faces towards it. Those who were given the Scripture certainly know this to be the truth from their Lord. And Allah is never unaware of what they do."

Originally, Muslims used to pray facing Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem.

During the Prophet Muhammad’s time in Medina, a revelation came (Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:144) instructing him to turn and face the Kaaba in Mecca during prayer.

This shift in qiblah occurred while the Prophet ﷺ was leading a prayer - he turned 180 degrees during salah from facing Jerusalem to facing Makkah.
